Description
What is Acetyl Glutathione?
S-Acetyl-L-Glutathione penetrates into the mitochondrial membrane, helps maintain its integrity and function, and crosses the blood-brain barrier, allowing it to directly detoxify and protect the brain. Acetylated glutathione greatly improves its ability to remain intact in the intestine and allows higher concentrations to be absorbed into the bloodstream, better anti-aging.
S-Acetyl-L- glutathione is the acetylation product of reduced glutathione. The acetyl group is connected to the sulfur atom of cysteineto protect the molecule from oxidation in the digestive tract and prevent the decomposition of glutathione. So that it can enter cells through the intestine and directly absorbed.
When the acetyl glutathione enters the cell, the acetyl group degraded and removed, and the glutathione returns to its free form to play a role in the cell. On the other hand, there is no unpleasant sulfhydryl taste, which can quickly increase the level of reduced glutathione in the cell without increasing energy consumption.
Compared with glutathione, acetyl glutathione more stable in plasma, and has also shown to be more effective in supplementing glutathione cell levels lacking due to viral infections.
The markers of oxidative stress and inflammation are the intracellular measurement of reduced glutathione
The role of tools. Reduction of oxidative stress markers is a measure of the effectiveness of reduced glutathione supplementation
A pilot study on 6 patients used oxidative stress markers to evaluate the effects of two dosage forms of glutathione: intravenous glutathione and oral acetyl glutathione for one week, with a dose of 1400 mg.
The researchers concluded that oral acetyl glutathione is equivalent to an equivalent dose of intravenous glutathione

Function
1) Anti-Aging and Easily Absorbed by Body
S-Acetyl L-Glutathione is a widely used glutathione and is a derivative and development of reduced glutathione. Acetylation refers to the process of transferring an acetyl group to a side chain group of an amino acid, and acetylation of glutathione is usually the attachment of an acetyl group to an active sulfur atom. S-Acetyl Glutatione is a form of glutathione that is more stable and easily absorbed by body than other forms on the market.
S-Acetyl Glutathione penetrates into the mitochondrial membrane, helps maintain its integrity and function, and crosses the blood-brain barrier, allowing it to directly detoxify and protect the brain. Acetylated glutathione greatly improves its ability to remain intact in the intestine and allows higher concentrations to absorbed into the bloodstream, better anti-aging.
2) Protect Liver
S-Acetyl L-Glutathione is the most effective glutathione variant currently on the market. Glutathione one of the most potent antioxidants that naturally produced by the body ( and the only one that intracellular ) and it has shown to neutralize free radicals, detoxify the liver, and to improve the functioning of the immune system.
S-Acetyl L-Glutathione is an altered form with an attached acetyl function group. This greatly improves its ability to remain intact in the gut and allows a greater concentration to absorbed into the bloodstream where it can take effect. It is a form of glutathione which is more stable in the human intestine and more easily absorbed by the body than other forms on the market.
